What applies to a Nerang install

Nerang has a few heritage-listed sites in the old town centre but no broad overlays affecting rooftop solar; the City Plan treats panels on existing homes as accepted development. Much of the suburb is within the bushfire hazard overlay, which does not restrict panels but influences cable routing and inverter placement. Can you put panels on my shed instead of the house?
