Council and network
Nearly all of Paddington is covered by the Traditional building character overlay, and parts sit in a Heritage overlay. Panels on an existing dwelling remain accepted development. On a locally heritage-listed house we check the citation before quoting. Council does not require a permit for panels. Do I need council approval for solar on a Paddington character home?

My roof is shaded by big trees. Is solar still worth it?

West-facing is my only clear plane. Does that work?
